Automatic Dialing in FortiVoice Enterprise

The FortiVoice Enterprise auto dialing system provides a significant time and resource savings for your organization by assisting you when you need to reach multiple contacts quickly and efficiently. 

This recipe guides you through the quick and easy process of setting up your auto dialer and establishing your contact list.

 
 

 Setting up an Auto Dialer Campaign

To setup an auto dialer campaign

  1. Go to Auto Dialer > Campaign > Campaign.
  2. Enter a name for the campaign and the caller ID to display on the phone.
  3. Select the message you wish to broadcast when the client is contacted.
  4. Enter the amount of times you want the auto dialer to retry calling the client in the Retry field.
  5. Select the external phone numbers you want to audodial. You can add numbers by going to Auto Dialer > Contact > Contact/Contact.
  6. Select the internal phone numbers you want to automatically dial. These numbers are the internal extensions on the FortiVoice unit.

If you wish to create your own personalized message, go to Auto Dialer > Campaign > Audio and select New.

Adding Contacts

With your auto dialer campaign configured, you can now start adding the groups or individuals you want the unit to automatically dial.

To add a contact

  1. Go to Auto Dialer > Contact > Contact.
  2. Select New and enter the necessary contact information.
  3. Select Create.

To add a contact group

  1. Go to Auto Dialer > Contact > Contact Group. 
  2. Select New.
  3. Enter a name for the group.
  4. Select the members for the group. If you have none available, you’ll have to create them by adding contacts. 
  5. Select Create.
