Using the FortiVoice Operator Mode

FortiVoice Enterprise enables users to process phone calls on the Web as an organization’s phone operator. This recipe quickly details how to use FortiVoice operator mode.

 

Configuring a User Privilege

Before you can use the operator mode a user must have access to the operating mode privilege. To create a user privilege

  1. Go to Call Features > User Privileges > User Privileges.
  2. Select New.
  3. Configure the user privilege and enable Operator role.
  4. Select Create.

Configuring an Extension

To configure an extension and apply the user privilege to it

  1. Go to Extensions > Extensions > IP Extensions.
  2. Select New.
  3. Configure the extension and select the User Privilege you configured in the previous step.
  4. Select Create.
  5. Go to Extensions > Extensions > Preferences.
  6. Double-click the extension you created.
  7. Select Operator console from the Display Preference section.
